Yura, called Didymus

Yura, a twin, was reached through evangelism. We canvassed his apartment region with russian John-Romans, containing tracts & information about our church. His mother kept the materials out on the kitchen table for her 2 adult sons to read. Yura had a nominal Russian Orthodox background and had also made a profession during a hypercharismatic/pentacostal 'revival'.

Chef Yura

Yura lends a helping hand in the church kitchen during a fellowship. After a year's absence, the Lord brought Yura back to church meetings and wrought deep conviction upon him. He eventually submitted to the Holy Spirit's work and openly confessed that he was lost & headed to Hell. He was religious but lost. He professed Christ as his Lord & Saviour in Oct 2002

Spiritual Bodyguards

Yura with Bro O'Brien & Bro Aubrey Mapp. Since his salvation, Yura has now started bringing his elderly Orthodox mother to Bible meetings and has openly prayed for her salvation. They both have now asked the church to teach them through the Chronological Bible Lessons, as Yura has only had a dozen of them. Nov 02
