"Three Crucial Issues"

of God's Word.
May I ask you two personal questions?
If you were to die today, do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven?
If God were to ask you: "Why should I let you into My Heaven?", what exactly would you say?
I have some wonderful news for you! You can know for sure that you have eternal life! It all has to do with 3 crucial things God tells us in His Holy Word.
ONE:
Mankind's problem: All have sinned and sin separates us from God.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
1John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way;"
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death;"
Isaiah 59:1,2 "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear."
2Thessalonians 1:8,9 "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;"
Re 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Re 20:10 "...ands hall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
Do you agree with God that you are a sinner and therefore deserve to be separated from God eternally?
TWO:
God's solution: The finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary is God's only provision for man's sin.
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
1Peter 3:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:"
2Corinthians 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
1John 4:10 "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (the satisfactory payment) for our sins."
Do you understand that you are unable to save yourself in any way, but that Jesus Christ died on the Cross to PAY the full penalty for YOUR sins?
THREE:
Mankind's responsibility: Repent toward God and trust by faith in Christ's work alone (i.e., plus nothing else) for forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:18 "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
John 5:24 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
2Cor 7:10 "For Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation ... "
Acts 20:21 "repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Romans 4:4,5 "Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
John 6:47 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."
Acts 8:36,37 "And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"
John 20:31 "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."
Acts 10:43 "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."
Galatians 2:16 "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
Repenting toward God, will you now trust in Christ's finished work on the Cross for you by faith, and receive God's free gift of eternal life?
Won't you place your faith in Jesus Christ & Him alone today?
What exactly is 'saving faith'? "To claim by personal choice, and to rely exclusively upon Christ's work on the cross to be sufficient payment for my sin."
or
"Being confident and assured that God will perform exactly what He said: The eternal salvation of my soul, based on nothing but the shed blood of Jesus Christ."
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!
