Saturday, June 12, we took a small ferry across the river to a place for Sasha's baptismal.

Pastor John inquires of Sasha's testimony of saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor John asks Sasha if he fully understands that Baptism cannot save him, help him to be saved nor keep him saved: it's the door to the local NT church, the first step of obedience.

Preparing to plunge!

Based upon his clear testimony of saving faith in Christ Jesus the Lord: "I now baptize you my brother in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit."

Having been buried in the likeness of His death, Christ has raised Sasha up in newness of life to walk in the light.

Rejoicing

Folks are singing "What will wash away my sins? NOTHING but the blood of Jesus ..." as we come back out of the water. Great joy for Sasha!
