Meet Ludmila
Ludmila was reached during Saturday Evangelism, when her apartment block of 600 units was visited. We gave out Russian John/Romans with tracts & a map. Ludmila had the obligatory russian Orthodox background, but had a "conversion experience" at a primitive russian unregistered baptist church. Sept 2001 |

Thank you
Ludmila began attending our Bible services, but didn't own a copy of God's Scriptures. She asked if it were possible to receive a Bible and we took the opportunity to show her the love of Christ & the vast difference between stale, stagnant religion and a true Bible-believing Baptist church. Happy New Years!
Ludmila (seated behind Cathy) came for our New Year's preaching & prayer service. She stayed till midnight joining us in praying in the New Year. Afterwards, the church had a massive fireworks display. Having been taught stoicism was spiritual, she began learning that Christians have much to celebrate! |

Happy Birthday
Ludmila (L) came for Pastor John's & Luda's birthday fellowship. She had began to bring her adult daughter Lena (seated far right) to our Bible meetings, though Lena was a member of a different church but was starving spiritually. |

Women's Day
On March 8 is International Women's Day, and our church had special services where we preached Proverbs 31 honoring Godly women. Flowers were given to all ladies. Ludmila (back right), not able to attend each Sunday due to her drunken abusive husband, was learning slowly the clarity of God's gospel by grace. |

Go ye ...
Ludmila (3rd from left) was very faithful over the wintertime in coming for Saturday Evangelism, regardless of the severity of the weather. A great testimony to her commitment in sharing the Gospel of Christ. Feb 02 |
