BIMI missionary Bob VanSant's Simferopol Baptist Church 550 miles south of us in Simferopol, Ukraine hosted the Deaf Conference 2003. Bro Bob here with deaf translator Tia. |

Conference Theme
"Create in me a clean heart" from Psa 51:10 was the theme of the Conference. It became the basis for all the preaching & related themes. |

John-Steven (far back center) volunteered to translate from russian into english for 3 other MK's who were present. His group included Oksana from our church. |

Teacher & Student
The Bible lesson teacher from Simferopol BC was very grateful for John-Steven's willingness to translate for her. Though run ragged in ushering the youngin's to the bathroom, for water, etc etc, John-Steven himself decided that the Lord wanted him there to serve. |

Bro Ronnie Rice was the keynote speaker for the Deaf Conference 2003. Being a Spirit-filled deaf preacher in english sign, Tia translated into russian sign. |
